Belt Conveyors

Belt Conveyors

Belt conveyors include many product types. This includes flat belt package handling conveyor. Trough belt conveyor, trash conveyor, cleated belt conveyors, flexible sidewall belt conveyors, bag handling belt conveyors, metering belt conveyors, coding conveyors, modular plastic belt conveyors, and plastic top chain conveyors.

Package or unit Belt Conveyor is typically a flat belt running on a slider bed or roller bed conveyor frame. The rollers under the belt that support the belt and product weight can be 1.9" diameter rollers, or 2-1/2" / 2-5/8" diameter rollers. Many belt conveyor options that are application specific are turning devices, toughing angles or idlers, print and apply labeling, and pushers for sortation.

We have developed a heavy duty belt on roller conveyor line for the stone and bagged cement industry. It uses a heavy duty structural steel frame and 2-1/2" diameter rollers with sealed precision bearings. The drive includes a herringbone lagged pulley mounted in two bolt sealed precision bearings along with a shaft mounted motor and reducer.

Cleated belt conveyors are often used in includes with small products. The belts can be PVC, molded plastic, hinged metal steel, or wire mesh belt. Cleated belt conveyors are also available with flexible sidewalls for steep inclines and product containment.
Bag handling belt conveyors include "V" trough belt conveyors for bag filling and sewing operations, bag turning conveyor to lay the bag down, bag kickers for changing a bag's orientation and laying it down. Bag kickers are available as a top kick or bottom kick, which can orient the bag heavy end leading or light end leading. Belt curves are the most reliable method of changing conveying direction and are often provided in bag handling systems.

With numerous possibilities in belt conveyor type and construction we encourage you to contact us for application assistance and review.
